Residents can expect alternating single lane closures on North and South bounds of Highway 35/115 between Concession Road 7 and Concession Road 8, August 21 to 25, 2017, for several construction activities. Closures on the Northbound lane will take place between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. and on the Southbound lane from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Leskard Road, between Concession Road 7 and Concession Road 8, will be closed August 31, 2017 to August 2018 . The road will be closed after Best Road reopens. This closure is for the construction of structures and the new highway through this area.

A partial eclipse of the sun expected Monday, August 21, 2017 between 1 and 4 p.m.
Important safety reminders during the eclipse:
Never look directly at the eclipse
Wear hats with a brim and sunglasses that will aid in protecting the eyes from indirect glare
It is very important to note that regular sunglasses will not protect the eyes if you look directly at the eclipse
Never look at the sun through sun glasses, binoculars, telescopes, cameras, colour...
